• Residency: You must be an Alberta resident. A resident is an individual who has lived in Alberta for 12 consecutive months prior to January 1, not including time spent enrolled in post-secondary institutions. This may include living in Alberta as a child or working in Alberta for 12 consecutive months outside of any post-secondary program. 

• Indigenous applicants: Indigenous applicants are not subject to residency requirements.​
